We have an active Twitter roll call but I'm going to throw out a Facebook one as well.  Feel free to add me, chat to me and be prepared for me to ignore all your farmville requests.

I'm listed under my email danielle@deekadoo.com

I'm under:

supernaut112@gmail.com

(My "trash" mail.)

However, I don't know how to search for anyone via email. I don't even know how I got the "friends" I have. Which goes to show you how much I'm on Facebook.

Weird, you used to be able to search by email. Ah well, linking it in is easier.

I recently separated everything out so I have my personal profile and the page for my writer friends and writerly interactions. Twitter is still my go-to place though for writerly stuff. Here's the link to my page on Facebook.

I generally limit my Facebook to those people I know well in real life. I use LinkedIn strictly for people I actually know and have worked with in some capacity, and I reserve twitter for more casual virtual relationships.

Which is a roundabout way of saying that I hope you all won't be terribly offended if you try to add me to Facebook and I say no.

By the end of April we'll have a live Book Country Facebook page where I hope to see you all! =)

I love the idea of a Book Country FB page!

I don't really care if anyone adds me to FB, but prepare to be disappointed. I'm simply not an active social networker. The main people I keep in contact with on FB are my friends from the cat fancy, and we're all bonkers, of course. >''<

Not offended in the least. That's my public FB account that I use so my mother-in-law can think she's stalking me. I'll add anyone there, including the crazy guy I was lab partners with in microbiology II in college. He has such fond memories of our times over a microscope.

I have another account for personal usage and rude pictures I don't want my family to see.

Just look up Autumn Rosen Books and you will find me on FB. I have a personal FB just under Autumn Rosen with a picture of a typewriter.

I don't have a personal FB page, but I manage two mystery pages for Macmillan publishing. They are at:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Parlor-Cozies/158005304241544

and

http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Safehouse-Thriller-Suspense/148338838545654

So if you're a mystery/thriller reader, stop by and play!

Go ahead and tell your friends about it but please don't Tweet about it yet, okay? Once we're into public beta next week, we'll let you know and you can tell as any people as you want! =)

Yeah, don't go on twitter yapping about bugs like I did last week. I have scars! Oozing, infected wounds. Just be good or they'll unleash their fury on you too.

I have had a long history of love-hate relationship with Facebook. 'What am I doing here?' is a question that I have tossed around several times - and the answer has never filled me with pride with myself! Twice I deactivated my account but the guys at Facebook know that I will be back and they kept my stuff safe and the fridge stocked!
Yes I am here, with 600 'friends' and counting.

I have a facebook page for obsessive compulsive disorder (which also serves as a platform for my novel)

http://www.facebook.com/pages/OCD-Story-A-Life-Lived-Ridiculously/144310752251801

Join, don't join, have a good giggle. I'm still trying to figure out whether building this page was a waste of a few precious hours that could have been better spent scratching my naval

Hello, I'm on facebook as well as Erin Nicole I have a facebook writer's group that I've created about a month ago, right now there

are 133 people and growing. If you'd like to join us the group is called "A Killer Voice".  One of my main aims for this group was that

everyone who joins adds one another to their friend list, but it isn't mandatory, we share articles on writing info, promote our books, and

everything in between, there are no restrictions with our group.

We've had a lot of new members joining Book Country lately. Welcome! I hope you will add a link to your Facebook page to this thread if you have one, and be sure like Book Country on Facebook, too!

Not sure how I missed this discussion. What a great a way to connect with more writers!

My FB posts are not always about writing; sometimes they involve food, wine (which I consider one of the food groups,) and my not-too-smart-but-loveable two puppies Mowgli and Abby, and their tormentor, Tink the cat.

And yes, I probably spend too much time on social media, but I still find time to write. Somehow.

Lucy, anybody. I have thought about finally joining Facebook. I just read an article that says you have to join under your legal name. Mimi is my genuine nickname. Speike is my genuine married name, and I use it for many things. But my license and many other things still carry my formal maiden name. I never changed all that, it was too much of a pain in the ass. I want to join Facebook as Mimi Speike. That's how I'm known on the web and that's what I plan to publish under. Will I be able to use it on Facebook?

I'm on Facebook as myself

Be forewarned though to expect to see very conservative, right wing political posts and opinions and occasional paranormal/supernatural type discussion now and then.

I've got a public FB page, though I haven't quite hit my stride with it yet. How do folks decide what to post on their author page vs. their personal page?
D J Lutz

I use my public page for anything to do with writing: my writing, writing tips, other people's writing, whatever I would like to share with other writers, or my readers. My personal page is more for keeping up with family and friends, most of whom know I am a writer but are far more interested in how my cat is doing.

Facebook author page at:

A hard won page, by the way. It took me forever to figure out how to control it.
