Okay, Danielle, you encouraged me in my niggling over in Fantasy regarding Jacqueline Carey. Here's another one.... Julie Kenner's Carpe Demon is a "cozy mystery"?! It's a "Buffy grown up into a soccer mom" book. Not only does she stake vampires (I think, it's been a while since I've read it) but she totally kicks butt. I would say Paranormal Mystery edging into Urban Fantasy, myself.

I'd actually place that one square in Urban Fantasy, with maybe a touch of Paranormal Romance.
Then again, I'm known for not understanding genre placement, so ymmv.
