My interest in writing began in the 8th grade. I had an excellent teacher who taught me a lot about writing, and she had me enter a contest. I didn't win, but I received an honorable mention. This prompted me to begin to pursue the fine art of writing. Since then, I've started many novels, although they aren't exactly close to completion. Over the last couple of years I've improved dramatically in my writing ability, and I continuously strive to improve my skills.
