I signed a contract last month with Musa Publishing and now I have a release date of 20 September, 2013 for my debut novel, Jack!

I didn't because when I started on BC, it didn't fit the genre requirements. I did workshop the query here, though...you can see that thread too, if you look under my name at discussions I started.

Sorry, I didn't realize there were new comments on this thread. Thanks for all the congrats. Tom, the picture is just me and my laptop and "photo booth."
I did put on makeup for it though, and take about 80 shots to get one I liked. Perhaps I should go into the "author head shots" business.

Delighted for you and hope this means you fully live the dream. Great to see one of us ascend from the teaming throng.
As has been said, shout out a reminder when it's hitting the bookshelves so we can ask for/order it to check our local bookstores are placing it.
Yahoo, there's hope for us all yet!

Thanks, Mike! It's with an e-only small press, so while it won't be on brick-and-mortar shelves, it will be available through the Nook store, the ibook store, the online bookstore I need not bother to name because it is ubiquitous, plus the publisher's website (musapublishing.com).
