Here's a cool contest I just learned about, brought to you by the same nice folks who host the San Francisco Writing Conference:

Writers may enter up to the first 1500 words of an unpublished or self-published flash fiction collection short story, novella, novel, nonfiction essay or collection or essays, nonfiction book, children’s book (including young adult/teen) or poems. You may enter more than once in a category and in more than one category. The winners will be announced at the 2015 San Francisco Writers Conference. Deadline: January 5th, 2015.
