I am a father, husband and writer. I am working on a BS of History. I want to teach high school history and social studies. While going to school I try to read as much as I can and work on writing my own book. I recently read a blog that suggested a writer should not work in a vacuum and recommended this site. I hope to give and get great feedback from other writers and together we can hone our craft.

I read a lot of books in a variety of genres. I enjoy both fiction and non-fiction. I read a lot of history and political books along with some fantasy and mystery. I don't really have a favorite author or book. I will say that On Writing by Stephen King is the best book about writing I have ever read. If you haven't read it you should.
