About the Book:

This is a short story I wrote to read at a group reading I did in Iowa City in 2011. We had to make sure our reading did not exceed 7 minutes. I loved the assignment bc it made me "kill my darlings" like crazy! Love Among The Ruins is a poem by Robert Browning--it got in my head bc it was also the title of an episode of Mad Men (as well as an old movie starring Katharine Hepburn). It's just kind of a placeholder title right now.

Author's Note:

I'd love feedback on this short piece I wrote about 2 young people traveling in Europe together and not having very much fun. Anyone have any suggestions for a title? Also, I am wondering what you think of my cover that I designed on Book Country!
