Short Bio:

I am a 65 year old retired 30 year US Postal Employee who had to retire two years ago after a massive heart attack and quadruple by pass surgery. I am a partially disabled vet who grew up on a tobacco farm and one of 8 children two of which are now deceased.I like to write horror fiction and poetry. I have been married to my wife Rosemary for 28 years and we have three grandsons. I fell in loving with reading and writing horror when I read Poe's "The Tell Tale Heart".

About Rocky Point's Reading & Writing

As I grow older I find myself reading more and more non-fiction having become a big fan of Erik Larsen especially his ability to take one back to other times such as he did in the "The Devil In the White City" telling the tale of the murderous Dr. H. H. Holmes during the Chicago Expo and as well his account of the US ambassador and his family in Nazi Germany before WWII "In The Garden Of Evil". Also I much enjoyed Doris K. Goodman's "Team of Rivals". I read a lot on the net fiction as well as a lot about politics.
