I most enjoy reading traditional and epic fantasy, and have also loved some of the soft science fiction I've read. I write primarily in the fantasy genre, the kind of stuff I most want to read. I was published many years ago in the small magazine Mythic Circle and in Marion Zimmer Bradley's Fantasy Magazine. I'm currently working on a fantasy novel, The Two Staves, which is a rewrite of a story also from many years back. Over time, the characters have stayed alive in me, grown more complex, and have become frighteningly insistent.
