About Holly Hildreth's Reading & Writing

I started writing as a teenager, keeping a journal of deep (to a 14 year old) emotional searching. In high school I was introduced to the books of Herman Hesse and thus began my life-long exploration of the metaphysical. Since then I have been reading and writing on metaphysical subjects as well as fantasy. A few years ago I began a number of short stories which took a darker bent. I was definitely working out some issues! I'll be posting these ugly (but no less loved) babies of mine as I complete rewrites and editing. I enjoy non-fiction, think piece-type writing as well. Every so often a children's story will pop out. I have a lot of fun with those. Looking forward to sharing with all of you on BookCountry.com.
