About Alverne Ball's Reading & Writing

I write mostly on the train to and from work. My motto is there is no rest for the wicked. I tend to write crime, more specific would be Urban Crime, ala the Wire. I'm currently working on the second Frank Calhoun crime novel entitled "Blue Religion" for which i'm about 60, 000 words in. I've recently written a graphic novel on the Dalai Lama and I'm currently working on a neo-noir graphic novel entitled "Dime" I tend to read in the genre that I'm writing in as I find it pulls me more into my own story.
