The inspiration for the Getaway Girlz series comes from our annual girl's trips we take with two of our lifelong friends. From spa treatments to white water rafting, these trips have made our friendships even stronger. Not to mention all the free (yet invaluable) therapy we dish out to each other. Writing has become our passion, and we hope you will laugh out loud at our adventures. Just keep in mind, we embellish our stories. Hey, it’s fiction! We do hope to inspire women, whether they’re 21 or 81, to stay in touch with old friends. Maybe take a getaway of their own. There’s nothing like a good friend who knows all your stories, the ones so crazy you can’t make them up, and who loves you anyway.
