Biographile is a great resource for writers, especially for those writing memoirs and biographies. We've featured five helpful articles from Biographile on the Book Country blog. I particularly liked Biographile's "From Journal to Memoir" series. Check them out!

Many characters in my fiction are based on people I know, or knew. I remarked to my husband the other day, "I knew an odd couple back in art school, a very tall, thin young man and his very short, rather dumpy girlfriend. They could be my Prince Bittor and his moist little muffin." My husband replied, "Yes, I know you're writing your autobiography." And yours, my dear. And yours.

.

He's in there, big time. Sly is a third made up, a third me, and a third my very amusing husband.
