Hi everybody--have you heard about the Amtrak Residency for Writers? It's a new program where writers can apply to write aboard Amtrak's rails. It was actually inspired by a Twitter conversation between writers talking about how great train travel is for writing, which is something I absolutely agree with.

As writers are learning more about the new Amtrak residency program, they've been taking to Twitter and their blogs about it. I thought this post was particularly interesting--it offers a little more information about what applicants are signing up for when they apply.
