Heyo fellow BC people!
I'm new here (and to publishing in general) but a keener  . I did NaNo last year with the goal of finishing my first manuscript. I had 21,000 words going into it and just shy of 78,000 at the end. The manuscript wound up being 103,900 words and I only got it finished because of the momentum and habit I'd picked up during NaNo. Haven't written since, however.
This year I'll be writing up part 2 of my Kings of Carnin series. It was originally supposed to be one book with two parts, but part one grew. I'll be starting from 0 this time round which is going to be a huge challenge! My username is DCLabs on NaNo, be sure to look me up and we can cheer each other on as we slog away
