I am trying to write a ghost story, I feel it's too tame. Can someone give me some advice how to liven it up a little bit. I want it to be wierd as possible.

Make sure you inflict plenty of bodily feeling and the senses into your narrative. Hope that helps!

I'd like to help but I'm not clear on what it is you're looking for help with.

Add a little backstory to the spirit that the story is surrounded against. Then, maybe set it in a scary setting like a castle or a haunted house and make the main character as vulnerable as possible. Then once you do that the story can unfold for itself.
