Short Bio:

I once read a book. I was not much of a reader, but I read a book and fell so deep within it in I could not come up for air. I drowned in their drama. I was there in their house, eating breakfast with them, chasing them across dry grass. And then *poof* the story ended. My friends, were gone. They never said goodbye. Nor told me how to find them. I was devastated. And I could tell no one one. So I didn’t read for years. It's not safe. People say books are safer than real people, but at least you can distrust real people and avoid them. But a character--you can't avoid them! So now I write stories, for they are the only way I can keep the narrative sane and my friends from leaving. And I won't let them get hurt in my stories. well, at least not too much. --other than that I have a day job as doctor and take care of kids and think of myself as adulterated holden caulfield, trying to keep them and myself, from growing up.

About TSipes's Reading & Writing

I love quirky odd sci fi and fantasy that blurs lines of people and place and history. Stories about human dignity, passion, sorrow plunked down in a the middle of a ridiculous situation. I don't like reality books--I see too much of it as it is and I experience the pathos and sadness of real day to day living with my day job. I want to see magic instead.
