Short Bio:

Abandoned AUTHONO-Mite in search of new home! Am I the only one concerned when the voices inside my head remain silent?! I am active and ultimately joined Authonomy from another critter group where I wasn't too happy. Hope to find new inspiration here and advice to polish my YA Fantasy (First in editing and rewriting phase, the second installment in first draft) I work hard to return all favors and assistance and hope my blurbs will be useful. My main issue is probably my bilingualism (although I'm battling with long sentences and flowery description as well - since cutting it all before strangled my voice, I assume it's just part of my style). Growing up with German and English makes a hell of a combination sometimes. At best it's humorous and fresh, at worst we get German colored phrases and off punctuation - I am always happy if pointed to any awkwardness ;) Family from Tx, living in Vienna/Austria now. Former actress, teacher - want to know more visit my pages ;)

About lilmerlin's Reading & Writing

Actually about my reading/writing preferences: Book trade sounds great, because I believe what I need is someone getting into the big picture to be able to point out how things work better. As of now I am stuck with my prologue and first chapter to find a good and intriguing beginning (I have been told right now everything is either too unsubstantial or too mysterious to intrigue - we've got to change that - or so my characters insist!) Btw: First I thought Shondoreen is simply Fantasy until people suggested it's YA and now a new bunch tells me it may be adult after all as a teenage protagonist doesn't mean it has to be for young readers. So decide yourself and tell me what you think lol I will have a discussion with my characters now to see what we want to say for the last 200 characters...
