Short Bio:
I have just finished what I hope is a mostly final draft of THE REMNANT, a historical thriller. The novel is set in a present day college secretly run by the spiritual descendants of the Anabaptists of Munster, a radical sect who in 1533 took over the German city and inaugurated a messianic monarchy that engaged in naked prophecy and forced polygamy. The sect, which calls itself the Remnant, is hell bent on bringing on the end of days and hatches a plot to spark a worldwide war. In their way stands a well placed but clueless professor who becomes the unwitting pawn of a secret society dedicated to stopping the Remnant.
When I am not dreaming up nefarious plots, I teach early modern European history at a college in Colorado.
