Short Bio:

I write humor fiction, with some elements of fantasy and sci-fi. I previously had written TV and movie parodies only, but now I mainly write original works. My blog, "The Skewed Life: Not a True Story, But Inspired By One, " consists of short stories posted weekly in a variety of formats: they have some basis in reality, but the actual stories are complete fiction. Several years ago, I had completed a two-act play called "Change or Death, " a portion of which was awarded First Place in the Stage Play category in the 83rd Annual Writer's Digest Writing Competition. Recently, I completed a humor/fantasy novella that is tentatively titled "The Fantastical World of Archie Dalrymple" - it is a collection of adventures in a small town that exists not quite in this world. My current jobs are as a medical staff secretary and credentialing associate in a hospital.

About Jennifer E. Pergola's Reading & Writing

I enjoy reading humor, fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, and some horror. I currently belong to two book clubs where we read almost every genre in fiction and non-fiction, so I also enjoy reading subjects that I may not usually select on my own (ex: biography/memoir, history, women's fiction, etc.)
Favorite Writers:
P.G. Wodehouse
Stephen King
Jasper Fforde
Agatha Christie
John Grisham
