Short Bio:

Lewis Allan is a speculative fiction author from Melbourne, Australia. His first published work is the short story 'Thou Art, ' available in the "Shades of Sentience" speculative fiction antholgy. Allan's work is primarily in horror, often with science fiction elements. No matter what he writes, it almost invariably turns into horror in the end. Much of his work is inspired by nightmares; his own grim, nocturnal imaginings. He has recently completed his first full-length novel "Alamandael, " a contemporary Melbourne vampire novel.

About Lewis_Allan's Reading & Writing

I am an avid reader of not only horror, but also non-fiction occult texts. My favourite authors include H. P. Lovecraft, Bram Stoker, Anne Rice, Aleister Crowley and Kenneth Grant. I'm also a huge Star Wars fan, and have greatly enjoyed the Expanded Universe timeline - particularly the novels of Matthew Woodring Stover and Timothy Zahn. I have a soft spot for auto/biographies of musicians I follow in the Goth and Metal scene, as well. I love reading the stories of artists like Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), Paul Di'Anno (Iron Maiden) and Ozzy Osbourne.
