Short Bio:
Monika Lange is a fiction writer and a former research scientist. Her historical essay and fragments of her fiction were published in The Copperfield Review; her personal essay appeared in Reader’s Digest’s Polish edition and her prose in Cenotaph’s new Book of Remembrance Anthology. Her short stories appeared in The Pilot, a publication of her Community Association. She placed a story in Living MS Magazine and an essay in MS Connection. Her short story was published by Brew City Magazine and Whistling Shade. Another short story was published by Long Story Short. She also wrote essays and memoirs for the Polish-Netherlands Culture Society in Breda, NL. She has finished OPIUM, a novel set in late 1970s' Iran. Monika Lange spent many years in Iran, where she studied the language, culture, and history of this country, formerly known as Persia. Her other novel, THE DANCING SHIVA, inspired by a statuette in her father's study, is also ready for submission.
