I am a writer, mother, wife, and former early educator. I'm raising two non-conformist teens and a tyrannical toddler. I drink (way too much) tea and when I'm not working on my novel I write non-fiction pieces for pretty much anyone that wants them, including (so far) The Good Men Project, Huffington Post, and BlogHer.

About SMRoffey's Reading & Writing

I started out as a comic book reader, then progressed by the age of 9 into a novel reader. After reading through all of the thrillers and suspense I could find, I went into the five and dime one day and found PC Hodgell's God Stalk, and I've been hooked on fantasy ever since. I read mostly late-night, and usually on my phone, so I'm pretty sure I'll need reading glasses at my next eye appointment.
