Short Bio:
After UC Berkeley and the San Francisco Art Institute, I went to Spain where I stayed for the next 20 years, having a great time and supporting myself by teaching the 6-60 crowd. In Spain, I began writing, in Spanish, books for children and young adults.
I’m now in the process of translating and rewriting books I first wrote in Spanish. I published 2 books for children in Spain with Montena, part of the Mondadori group.
Apart from writing, I do photography and some graphic design. I love chasing after dragonflies and other insects to photograph. I enjoy traveling, especially to Kyoto, Japan. I collect 1st editions of children’s illustrated books. When I have time I create hand made books with pictures from my ephemera collection.
I'm envious of the work ethic of bees and ants, so much self discipline!
