About Mykle's Reading & Writing

I read an average of 5 books a week. Eclectic in my reading. I enjoy series if I can start with book 1 and read them in order. Started reading in the 4th grade when I got my first pair of glasses. I started with the typical boys series like "The Black Stallion", "Big Red" and "Freddie the Pig". as well an stand-alone books. Early on I discovered Science Fiction in it's formative years. In the 5th grade the school librarian allowed me access to all book regardless to grade level. In high school I read just about everything except "girl" books. My college education was based on reading the textbook the first week of class and rereading for mid-term and finals. Books mean so much to me I don't own a TV. Throughout my life books have been a pillar supporting my interests and outlook.
