Short Bio:
After false starts in third grade and my sophomore year in college, I picked up my pen upon retirement and began to write again. Finding the Way Home is my first collection of short fiction now available on Amazon.com.
Like my protagonists, I have traveled widely in the course of career stints as language teacher, social worker, software marketer, and translator. I returned to the Chicago area in 2006 where my wife and I retired after living and working in Germany and Switzerland for sixteen years.
I consider our two married daughters and five grandchildren to be our proudest additions to the world.
Choral singing and European languages remain my other major passions; I still do German to English translation and tutor German via Wyzant.com.
