Short Bio:
I represent author James E. Thierry and continue with his project to share his stories.
Judge Thierry (1922 -2010) was a born story teller and published author of humorous fiction. His collections of short stories and novels are based on his rich & varied life experiences.
Shortly before his passing, he shared that his main motivation in writing has been for the new experiences and adventures in crafting a story. Of note is the fact that often the most ironic, witty humor of a story is based on fact and real life situations. He has created an assemblage of unique characters, all ready to play their parts, no matter how overwhelming the odds. In addition to his joy of writing he was an outstanding & prolific wood carver. He was a 1949 graduate of Kent State University with a major in Journalism & The Ohio State University College of Law with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
