Short Bio:

Born in Trinidad, West Indies on March 22, 1954. Started a career in Journalism at Trinidad Express Newspaper in 1978. Traveled as a freelance writer through Europe 1981, returned to Express, moved to India in 1984 to study at the Indian Institute of Mass Communications and returned to Trinidad to work in documentary film making. In 1992, returned to India to work at Hindustan Times and later at the Times of India. Publication of East of the West (2001 Commonwealth Publishers) and Lilavati and other stories (2002 Commonwealth Publishers). Return to T'dad and Express in 2005, in 2010 released "Hush! Don't Cry". 2012 "In the Footsteps of Rama" and 2013 "Path of Peace." June 2013 moved to Houston, Texas to settle with my two children. Working on "Whispering Hope" a collection of short stories, "Best Actor in a Negative Role" and "Sisters."
