Before I read a book, I scan each page from cover to cover. After doing this, I set my countdown clock to 60 minutes and then go on a race to read as fast as I can. I read blocks of words at a time. On the first few pages, I read every sentence. As I reach the middle of the book, I begin to skim through groups of sentences and fully read only the ones that I haven't seen before. In short, I am a fast and impatient reader.
