Short Bio:

Jeannine is a jack of all trades and owner of none. She writes, sews, designs clothing, draws, paints, cooks, and dabbles in photography. , She is a wife, pet parent of two adorable basset hounds. She does own one husband, at least she believes she owns him. . She has dreamt of writing a book, more like nightmare dreams sometimes, but she pursued this dream via an English Writing degree with a double major in Philosophy. She seriously believed that this would lead her that nirvana of, perfect writing, amazing prose, correct grammar with great thought provoking ideas. She has learned that the list above is showing up by just living her life, participating in what she love to do instead of forcing the issue. The upside of all of this, her oddball, geeky and nerdy sense of humor is rising as a phoenix from the ashes. She will let you know when it lands.

About JeannineKalua's Reading & Writing

I am a reader snob. Yes I will admit it instead of blaming it on someone else. You see my mother was also an English fanatic, she tried her hands at writing books, but due to two kids, one dog, one cat, four goats, a husband and a career...you get the picture. But she read to us, incessantly great amazing literary pieces, poetry, and made sure I got it as I was growing up. So reading Shakespeare, and Homer, the Kings James Bible ~ that was my first reader actually...nope no" See Jane Run" for me! So as writing has changed, sentences have gotten a lot shorter, and language, text and linguistics have changed I find myself not reading as much. And has instilled the fear that maybe my writing would just bore people to death! So I am here, to dip my toes into the world of writing once again and connect with people who are for what ever reason obsessed with putting, well it used to be pen to paper, fingers to keyboards. I am excited to see what other creative types are cooking up!
