Short Bio:

Living a full life on the outskirts of Philly. I live with my husband, 2 children on the Autism Spectrum, and our dog. My heart gravitates to writing about women with extra challenges in life. The characters and themes are fictional, but closely tied to my real life experiences from: 25 years of marriage, 22 years of parenting, 20 + years of autism in educational and personal realms, supporting families with children with differing abilities. I have seen families loose themselves. They get worn down, chewed up, spit out. They forget how to be anything other than a special needs parent. And forget about feeling sexy. They don't have time for that? And if they do, what would everybody say? They have other things they should be focusing on for God's Sakes. I want to showcase a couple's love, resilience, strength, hope, with a great story line, supportive friends, and romping good sexy baseline.

About Maggie Whiet's Reading & Writing

In short, I read nearly anything, but I can't read everything that I would love to...I simply don't have a lot of extra time lying around in great quantities. On a side note, I am a relatively slow reader. I really love getting deep into my reading. I turn pages, I highlight, I scribble notes in the margins, on the backs, and on the covers. I sometimes rip a page...that means I really love something on that page. To me, reading is a full contact sport. I love it!
Favorite Writers:
Shakespeare, Walt Whitman, Elizabeth Gilbert, Dr. Seuss, Maurice Sendak
