Short Bio:

I'm one of those people who have lived through so many "you should write a book" scenarios, that, finally, I'm working on making the most out of the pain and disappointments I experienced in my 20s and 30s. I've been 'writing' this book for a decade, in my mind. Now, it is time to help others so that the cycle of what I experienced (and countless other women) can be broken; thereby changing the way we choose to be treated in life by first looking at ourselves. I could go on and on. I suppose you'll have to read the book! I am married 4 years to my wonderful husband Ray; I have three beautiful children ages 24, 14 & 12 and two dogs; all of whom bring me utmost joy. They are collectively my heartbeat. We live in a large house with lots of rooms and property. I am a practicing massage therapist for 12 years and really enjoy my work helping others and having the flexibility as well to do the things I love to do. I am a snowboarder, a longboarder, a hiker, a cyclist and a gym rat.

About Jill A. Yelle's Reading & Writing

I read pretty much anything that is recommended to me, but mostly murder mysteries. While the idea of murder or doing someone or any living thing harm is the most unthinkable subject in life, the mystery of who did it intrigues me. I'm a big CSI fan to the point where I wish it had come up along the way in my earlier years as a possible career. Romance novels are boring to me. I do like non fiction as well. But I do prefer suspense. As a young child in school, I never enjoyed reading at all. When I was assigned "In Cold Blood", it was this book that I remember; the only book I enjoyed reading in school. I would guess that, psychologically, I am a perfectionist which denotes a very low self-esteem trait. Just when I thought I truly loved myself, I definitely gravitate toward the mystery and suspense of pain and suffering. I guess this is supposed to make my feel better? I treat life as a right; even down to the tiniest bug. I am not alone!
