I absolutely love historical fiction. I love history and stories, but find history texts to be dry and boring, so historical fiction is my solution. I'm on the hunt for more fantasy. I did enjoy Harry Potter, but I'm admittedly a bit of a literary snob and often find that the writing in fantasy novels doesn't equate to the writing in more literary genres. I would also like to expand my list of "have read" classics. I couldn't get through them in high school, but I'm hoping that I will find them better now, 10 years later. This academic year, however, will mostly consist of reading young adult for my job. Yes, part of my job is to read and review books, which I think is SWEET!
