Short Bio:
I was born and raised in Missouri, the Show Me state, which probably accounts for my independent nature. After graduating from college in Missouri, I learned about the U.S. by living in four different states. I had trained to be an English teacher, but had become skeptical about teaching after a student teaching experience in a small town where I did more classroom baby-sitting than teaching. That experience scared me and alienated me from my idealized view of what teaching should be. Next while trying to figure out what I should do when I grew up, I worked in the business world until the insurance company I worked for went bankrupt. I moved to Utah where several college friends lived. I began working for the government because I wanted to help people. I still work there today and helping people is still important to me. I serve the public and now they serve me by helping develop my skills of character development. I'm working on my first novel called "Kindred Spirits".
