Short Bio:

I spent the first half of my youth in sunny southern California and the second half in rainy Washington state, where I currently live with my husband, two children and an assortment of broken umbrellas. As a child, I'd always gravitated toward tales of the fantastical and when I stumbled upon D'Aulaires' Book of Greek Myths at the library, I was smitten for life. I have a degree in History from the University of Washington and a passion for reading, writing and travel. This past January, I had the pleasure of self-publishing my first book, a young adult fantasy novel titled ECHO IN THE UNDERWORLD (now available for Kindle and Nook users).

About HoneyBee88's Reading & Writing

When I connect with a book, my world comes to a halt and I only come up for air when I absolutely must. Sometimes these literary connections are of my own choosing, sometimes it's a book club assignment that I never would have picked up on my own. Other times, I'll find myself slogging through a book someone has raved about and wonder if I've missed something. I really hate to give up on a book once I've committed to it, but I'm learning to let that go. Life is short and the library's catalog is vast... as is my goodreads "to-read" list.
