Short Bio:

I am a compulsive writer. My cause of death is likely to be drowning in my notes. I am mainly interested in answering the big question: obtaining and sustaining the good life. To this end I majored in Philosophy at Columbia University; immersed myself in the subject matter of the esoteric occult; obtained a Ph.D. in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling; was an Assistant Director of Odyssey House (an innovative therapeutic Community treating substance abusers) in the first years of its origins; worked in a number of substance abuse programs in NYC; and am a psychoanalyst practicing in New York city for the past 46 years. I also play the piano and synthesizer; enjoy my family; and construct complicated wooden model ships. I have written articles about mental health issues and two published books: DEMYSTIFYING MEANINGFUL COINCIDENCES - and ATTITUDESHIFTING. My soon to be submitted memoir- MY TURBULENT ODYSSEY:-Treating Drug Addict in the Sixties - is 46 years in the making.
