Short Bio:
Holly Brady is the former Director of Publishing Ventures at Stanford University. She is a seasoned editor and publishing strategist with a strong interest in digital publishing models.
Holly spent 16 years at Stanford, where she ran the Stanford Publishing Course. This course attracted editors and publishers from some of the top US publishing firms, including Random House, Time Inc., Simon & Schuster, Harper Collins, Newsweek, John Wiley & Sons, Chronicle Books and others. In addition, she served as executive editor for The Portable Stanford book series and the highly acclaimed Stanford: Portrait of a University.
She also launched the Stanford Writers Workshop, Stanford’s Web Publishing Workshops, and the Stanford Video Workshop.
An award-winning author and editor of several magazines, Holly has served as a judge for the online division of the National Magazine Awards. She holds a B.A. in English Literature from Stanford University.
