Short Bio:

Advertising feature writer for metro newspapers by day, hopeful romance writer by night... I pushed aside writing for a few years to become a graphic designer, but last year I clawed my way back to the writing world and have recently finished my first novel. Currently in the process of major editing (re-writing basically every sentence!) and loving it. I have a degree in Creative Writing/Journalism and qualifications in Design, so in my dream world I would write novels and design my book covers/branding/website. I currently live in sunny Brisbane, just got married to a teacher who is dying to read/edit my book (I haven't let him near it yet) and am full of wishful thoughts of being published.

About cassandra's Reading & Writing

I read so much...seriously. My mother is a librarian so I grew up breathing books, spending school holidays in bean bags in the reading corner, a delicious spread around me... I'm not loyal to one genre, though I do tend towards general fiction, literature, chick-lit and romance. I generally have at least two books on the go; currently it is a random but beautifully written romance/general fiction work by Morgan McCarthy (The Outline of Love), and I'm finally starting to read Game of Thrones.
