Short Bio:

I am a retired social worker and now spend my time reading and reviewing children's books. After taking several online courses, a long course on writing for kids and teens at the Institute of Children's Literature, and reading hundreds of books, I am finally writing my own middle grade novel. I tend to read three books at a time, but if a book is absorbing I will finish in one or two sessions. Late night and early morning are the best times for reading. Evening and late night are the best times to write. Actually, any time my pets are asleep is the best time to read or write. I do not get enough adult books read, being that I review over 200 books a year for kids age 0 to 12.
