Joel Pierson is the author of the Messenger series of paranormal thrillers. Born in Chicago and educated at Knox College, he now lives in Bloomington, Indiana, where he works in publishing, owns a voiceover studio, and works part-time as a journalist. He is never happier than when writing a book or petting a dog.
