If I didn't spend my days with 2nd graders (the greatest little people on earth), I would spend my days on the couch, coffee close at hand, with a book. Although I love to travel and consider speaking my school-girl French one of life's greatest thrills, I am happiest at home. My son and daughter, as well as assorted pets and a husband, give me excellent story fodder. The very best material, however, comes from the community in which I live, for there are fascinating people around every bend.
