I've always loved to read and write. When I was young it was the only way to truly express my emotions. I studied journalism and creative writing in high school as well as Fiction Writing classes at Greenville, Tech college in Greenville, SC. I traveled to Macon, GA for writing workshops and read everything I can find on writing techniques and how to market my Indie published books. My second book has just been published on amazon.com and it is the first in a new paranormal romance series about vampire slayers. I am always looking for tips on how to make the best of what I have and to gain as much experience as possible.
I have learned that my hubris has cost me dearly with my first book. Hiring a professional editor is an expensive venture but one that is required if you want to be a successful author. He is now editing my first novel and I will be publishing a revised edition in a few more weeks.
My next goal is to find an agent and a traditional publisher. Wish me luck!
