I love to read just about everything, from classic novels to urban fantasy. Currently I'm still making my way through East of Eden by John Steinbeck, as well as Red Seas Under Red Skies, the second book in the fantasy trilogy by Scott Lynch.
As far as my writing goes, I tend to write more YA than anything, just because I'm so fascinated by young people's interpersonal relationships (especially since I am still very much a young person). Currently I'm working on one realistic fiction book about two teen girls growing up and dealing with the consequences of witnessing one harrowing event. I'm also working on a YA fantasy trilogy about 4 teenagers who can each control one element (earth, air, water, fire) in a world where such powers are outlawed under penalty of death (I promise it isn't Avatar: the Last Airbender).
