Preferred Genres:Historical Fantasy, Historical Romance, Romantic Suspense

Short Bio:

Shellie was born in Canton, Ohio raised in the small community of Hartville, Ohio. She's a country girl at heart who loves country music & fishing with her dad. Among her love and passion for country music, Shellie's connection with others has inspired her to always write how she feels. "The sense of freedom in writing is truly theraputic". "Getting lost in what I write is how I can connect with others", she states. A good story, whether it's inspirational or based on real life situations is what Shellie aims for herself when it comes to writing."I could be writing about country music or it's artists, writing lyrics or simply writing in general makes me feel good, making connections with others or simply giving back to non-profit organizations makes me smile and well worth every day.

About Shellie Palmer's Reading & Writing

At the age of 15 began writing poetry in journal books, those poetry entries inspired to write lyrics by the age of 18. In 2003 Shellie's poem "Free" was submitted to a poetry publishing contest & was published by The Famous Poets Society. Shellie's love and passion for writing was a true escape emotionally. "I get lost in the moment when I write, I'm in another zone all together", she explains. By 2010 Shellie had a number of poems already stored away, with encouragement and support from her closest friends took the leap of faith and in 2011 began her journey on releasing a book, it wasn't until those poems came together that would change her outlook on life and others. The Poetry Diaries was released and published through Amazon.com in March of 2013. Shellie will release her 2nd book in the poetry series late spring of 2013. "What I love about writing is truly connecting with an audience, letting them into my world"."Making an impact in someone's life is a truly rewarded feeling". The second book in the poetry series "Life In Color" was released April 3, 2013 with many to come in the future. My latest goal is to write a self help book pertaining to anxiety and depression and how to live with it on a spiritual level.
