I've only recently taken to writing. I have always been "that guy" that will sit next to you in a theatre and say, "The book was better." I just feel that books allow a reader to fill the world (with the aid of the author of course) with their own visions of what that world is like, and how the characters look. I have written a few short stories in my time and am currently in the process of completing my first manuscript. As we can all tend to be a bit biased toward our own work, I am really hoping to find some direction and constructive criticism from more seasoned authors.
