Màiri loves reading, writing and researching historical romance (with the occasional contemporary thrown in.) She also enjoys reading science fiction from the past 50 years of the genre. She currently has five finished manuscripts and two unfinished. She hopes to self-publish her first book by summer of 2013. Rewriting and editing this book is her current WIP.
Màiri is a member of RWA and CHRW.
When not writing, Màiri enjoys long walks with her husband, playing with her cats, learning Scots Gaelic and making twelfth scale miniatures. She loves Scotland and plans for a long-term visit. Her goal during her stay there is to write romances set in various Scottish locales and historical periods.
