Scott Langrel grew up listening to oral ghost stories passed down in the culturally-rich Appalachian region of Virginia. As a result, he now continues that tradition in his writing. From short stories dealing with evil nature spirits to the exploits of his "paranormal handler" Finn McCoy, Langrel utilizes his firsthand knowledge of mountain language and habits to instill a sense of authenticity in his works.
As for his fantasy works, they were inspired by countless hours playing Dungeons and Dragons as a teen.
When not writing, Mr. Langrel is an avid amateur ghost hunter and musician.
