I'm a news junkie day-to-day. As to my book reading, I'm attracted more to narrative nonfiction and biography than other types of writing, but interested in hearing what all writers have to say. We share much in common. I live in rural Connecticut with my husband and two cats, in a house that needs a lot of work and some land around. I also design and custom make dog clothes, also dog- and cat-themed items for their owners. Am currently at work on a book of narrative nonfiction--the story of a pony acquired by some Marines during the Korean War, that turned out to be a real-life "war horse" for the Fifth Regiment. That and the dog business keeps me busy and out of trouble! Thanks to my husband who is happy (most of the time) with quickie dinners.
