I love many different genres of books, from legal thrillers to historical mysteries to simple supernatural comedies, with Derek Landy and JK Rowling featuring heavily in my bookcase.
When it comes to writing, however, I aim towards the young adult audience, writing tales set in modern Ireland with a supernatural backdrop and a tinge of comedy just to set things off nicely.
