I read a lot, always have ever since someone thrust an Enid Blyton Famous Five book into my hands at a very young age.
Now, I write. Reading is fun and entertaining, but writing is a whole different thing. It's like reading a great book, watching an awesome film and playing one of the best computer games ever!
I never write with an idea where my story is going, it's as much of a mystery to me as I write it as when my readers discover it later.
I start with what I think is a great opening line and wonder where it will go; I follow the lead fleshing it out and watch as the story builds itself, it's a great journey.
